the joy of kanban

I was recently privileged to host a few sessions on Agile and Kanban with the esteemed Kanban trainer Ricardo Tome, who had come to the conclusion when hearing a certain Michael Jackson song that he had indeed come to a great summary of the purpose of Kanban.

lets face it, he was probably talking about software development teams

lets face it, he was probably talking about software development teams, of course now we will never get to ask him…

WRT Kanban, one of the greatest things Ricardo came up with was the phrase “Map the reality” when creating large quantities of columns.

One of the best things we love about Kanban is that you can start where your team is at now, and then continuously improve.  You don’t start with a mature Kanban board, you end up with one… perhaps.
